I’ve built a collection of Excel tools to manage different parts of my financial life.
One tracks household expenses through the Personal Expense Tracker. Others show where my investment capital is deployed through the Portfolio Intelligence Dashboard, calculate profit and loss, and track GTT orders and cash requirements through the Investment Deployment Tracker. The Equity Investment Model scores opportunities and helps determine how much to invest in each, and across which tranches.
Each tool solves a specific problem. Together, they give me a clearer view of where my money goes, where it is invested, how the portfolio is performing, and what capital is available for the next investment.
This is my Personal Financial OS. It isn’t a single application. It’s a set of practical tools built around the decisions I actually need to make.
The question is how much further I can take it. I’m using Python to automate parts of these workflows. There’s still work to do before the entire system is fully automated. These tools and the automation around them are the building blocks for a possible Personal Quant Agent.
Now it’s a matter of learning, experimenting, building, iterating, and moving along. I’ll figure out what works as I go.
The tools are built. The larger system is still a work in progress.
