Investment Deployment Tracker

An investment decision doesn’t end with choosing a stock. There is still the question of when to buy, at what price, how much to allocate, and whether enough cash is available to execute the plan.

I built this Excel tracker to manage that part of the process.

It brings together GTT orders, target buy prices, planned quantities, and the capital required at different price levels. It also tracks the money available across liquid funds, arbitrage funds, cash reserves, mutual funds, and other investments, helping me see how much is available to deploy and how much is already committed to pending orders.

For individual holdings, the tracker records reference prices, potential entry levels, and planned quantities across multiple tranches. This makes it easier to translate an investment plan into actual orders without losing sight of the overall cash position.

The challenge is not simply finding attractive prices. It’s coordinating multiple opportunities against a finite pool of capital, while avoiding the assumption that every pending order will execute.

This is the execution layer of my Personal Financial OS: connecting investment intentions to prices, quantities, orders, and available cash.
